Sobriety plan example for the early days

  1. Seek support from a therapist or counselor who specializes in addiction and recovery.

  2. Attend regular meetings of a recovery group, such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous.

  3. Surround yourself with a strong support network of sober friends and loved ones.

  4. Create a daily self-care routine that includes activities such as exercise, meditation, and healthy eating.

  5. Make a commitment to avoid triggers that may lead to relapse, such as certain people or environments.

  6. Practice gratitude and positive thinking to help stay motivated on your recovery journey.

  7. Consider seeking additional support from a sober coach or sponsorship.

  8. Seek out additional resources and tools, such as sober apps and recovery literature, to help stay on track.

  9. Remember to be kind to yourself and celebrate your progress, no matter how small. Every day sober is a victory
